SLP stall converters???

I am in the market for a 2800rom stal converter and it seems like SLP offers some pretty good bang for the buck for a 2800rpm at $349.99 and they are also made by Yank according to SLP...anyone have any thoughts on if it's worthwhile buying or should I just save up for a Vigilante???

Thanks!

Gary.

Well, I've had my Vigilante in the car for 7 years with absolutely no problems and with 420rwhp I aint too gentle with it...also got 5 tenths at the track with it....I've definitely got my $700 worth!!! I'd go with the 9.5" Vigilante...

I exploded my slp converter. It did last for a little while. Very happy with the tci streetfighter. Sending lots of power through her with no complaints.
