SLP 2800 stall convertor?

SLP 2800 stall convertor?
How does it compare the the P/I convertors? My transmission is going and I'm going to order a tranny from speedinc, but I would like to save a couple hundred $$$ if I could. Aren't the SLP converters built by yank? And how does it compare to the vig on efficiency and on the launch?

I also agree. I don't think yank makes the SLP converters either. Either way I've heard they are junk. Get the PI and be done with it. I have a 3000rpm Vig. and love it.
