Slipping?

Well im new to this, got m6 last firday.... well i was easy on it for first few days(has 60k miles on it) well today i raced my friend, 2004 350z well... we went.. i went through 1st, burned rubber 70% of it(clutch felt good, and didnt seem to slip at all here...)

well i shifted to 2nd... and i was a lil less than 5500rpm when i shifted.. well i let the clutch up(was fully released), slammed gas back down, and the rpm (seemed, went really fast) ill test again tomorrow i guess.. but i hit gas, once it was up, not while i was releasing it... and it went to 5600 almost immediatly and i felt like i wasnt accelerating... although i just did the same thing, but shifted at 5k and it felt totaly fine... i dunno, am i being clear? il test it again tomorrow, and post the results..

thx
cory
