If that's what you think, then you misunderstand.

GM spent extra money designing and developing skip shift.

Skip shift saves you money, both when you buy a new car that has it (because you don't have to pay the gas guzzler tax) and when you fill up at the pump.

ahhh. I see. ok.. makes sence,. I was saying cheep because I should be able to shift where I want when I want (except Rev).. but yea. makes sence
