Should I flush my 98 T56? Advice plz

Hey I was thinking that a good flush and relube of my tranny might help my car run a lot smmoother and more slick. The car has almost 70K on it and its never had the trans flushed before. So i think this would be a good thing to do. Also I think i was reading that royal purple makes a real nice tranny fluid, should i use what the dealership has for fluid to put back in or should i bring in my own, if so which one?

You don't really flush a manual like you do an auto, just pull the drain plug and drain it, its very easy to do on the T56. I changed mine to Mobil 1 synthetic ATF about 20k miles ago and it's worked great. Honda ATF is another good choice, a lot of people use it and it's supposed to work really well too. I havn't heard about a lot of people using Royal Purples ATF.
