shifting to race

I just bought a 2000 SS Camaro. It is a manual one aswell. However, I am just getting used to the feel of the car. When I start to floor it and i try to shift i always shift kind of wrong. It starts to kinda bobble. Any techniques to show me how to shift correctly when i race.

Re: shifting to race

Place foot on gas pedal, depress clutch at desired RPM while at the same time shifting. Release clutch and do it all over again
