shift points w/ dyno tune??

can shift points be changed with a dyno tune.??

i just got my 4l60e rebuilt with all the good stuff.
-transgo shiftkit,kevlar clutches,tranny cooler,bigger stall etc etc.
but my shift points have changed.

i dont really want to buy a hypertech programmer cuz ive read up
on them on here, and have concluded that they are a waste of money.

i have a 96 btw.
