Have a 97 z28 and i recently did a somewhat top end renovation and i have everything back together... (finally) and it is running great! But,...., when i would get on it before the work, i could hit red line and then the car would shift at the perfect time and shoot u off.
Now when i hit red line it wants to go to far into red line and studder then hit. if it will hit, or I will have to let off briefly then get it again. Could this be something I have done or maybe is it a solenoid? Its just not shifting at the desired times when you really hit it. Before the car had sat with the occasional crank ups and then the work took about a month on and off with the battery totally unhooked. Im hoping it is something simple.
