I & some others use Trans-Go with much success, & in in all of my performance buildups, some others do not like them. It is a matter of preference. As for B&M & Art Carr valve body kits, stay away from them unless you like harsh shifts and damaged transmissions.

I've used both the B&M and the Trans Go kits. No comaprison, IMHO. The Trans Go yielded more favorable results. The B&M kit resulted in violent 1-2 shifts with only a marginally improved 2-3 shift. The Trans Go kit yielded firm, positive shifts under load and near stock shifts under normal driving. I bought my Trans Go kit from Pro Built.
