Shift Kit ??????

I am getting ready to install a 2800 TCI lock up converter and was wondering if I get a MADz28 or PCMforless tune will I still need a shift kit? They have the option on there order sheet to tell what kind of stall and they also have the option to increase the shift firmness. With both of those checked would I still need the shift kit? I am putting the stall on a used tranny and dont want to dump to much into it because I am building another tranny for when I start spraying the car. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

The "modified" Trans-Go Performance Shift kit will allow you to keep the part throttle shifts smooth and WOT shifts firm, and this will give you the best results when it comes to longevity. Talk to Ed Wright at fastchip.com if you need to have the electronics addressed.

How will it run without it?

Re: Shift Kit ??????

If you do nothing, and spray it with nitrous, make sure you use a "window" switch" setup. This will stop the nitrous during the shifts, and the transmission will live longer.
