my shifts right now are not firm right now, so i went to the local performance trans shop and he showed me some servos to put in it.

there made by Sonnax and there the 2nd and 4th gear servos.

he told that was everything i need and wanted outta my trans for now.

What do you guys think about them, is there other brands that make the same servos that you would recommend?

We use the Fairbanks Billet 2nd servo and the Sonnax 4th servo in all of our "Race" and "Pro Race" builds. This combo seems to work great. The 2nd servo will make the 1-2 shift pretty firm, and will also help the 2-3.
The problem is, they apply the band with so much force, it will usually tear the anchor lug out of most stock bands. This is why we also use 2-4 bands with reinforced anchors.
