Serious grinding from where??
Serious grinding from where??
This just started all of a sudden, when I push the clutch pedal to the floor I get a very loud grinding noise, if I hold it all the way down it will almost kill the engine. It does it in all gears and neutral. I have heard bad throwout bearings before but nothing like this. I wonder if it could be the throwout bearing or even the pilot bearing. If I only push the clutch pedal down about halfway I can still drive it, no grinding and all the gears work fine. Its a 95 Z28 6 speed with 250000 miles on it but the clutch was replaced about 3 years ago.
Anyone have any ideas.

Could be the clutch fork interfering with the clutch assembly; the pivot point for the fork may be loose causing the fork position to change. Remove your slave cylinder and inspect the fork (what you can see of it).
