scraping/squeek

i have a squeeky scraping noise comming from the rear wheel, ive tightened lugnuts, bought new lugnuts, pulled the caliper off and looked for anything unusual, would a wheel bearing make this sorta noise? when the brakes are applied with even the slightest pressure on the brake pedel, the noise stops.

Did you put some of the squeek stop stuff on the backs of the brake pads. Im not sure of the name of it but every parts store has some. if its just an annoying squeeking sound thay could cause it and when you lightly touch the brakes the caliper clamps down and removes all of the play the pads have and the squeek dissapears for a minute but comes right back.

Easies solution is what kind of shape are the pads on the back in, are they gettign close to the squelers.
