Who thinks I will end up hating my 4.10's?
With 301 RWHP and 4.10's I got decent traction in the summer time. I could just ease out then punch it and not break traction. However when its cold out this is impossible in first gear.
Now I am building a forged 355 with LE2 heads, LE 1.5 camshaft and ported intake. I am expecting around 400 RWHP when its done.
I am growing worried that my 4.10's might make it very hard to maintain traction in first gear. If I cant just ease out and nail it then that will be a problem especially in warmer months.
I am thinking I may have to back to 3.42's so i dont have these problems plus I will gain some 10 bolt strength back which is a very good thing. The Cooper Zeon tires I have are very good tires and I am very happy with them and dont want to run a real expensive tire.
Any thoughts about when 4.10's become too much?

I run 4.11's with 430 rwhp (m6). I am actually considering switching to 4.30's or 4.56's.
As far as traction, with my 275 street tires it will spin them through the first three gears and chirp 4th, but you dont HAVE to push the pedal all the way
