S-10 tc

I saw a post in the LT1 tech section that said we can use an V6 S-10 torque converter in our A4s, I searched it sounds that it would be a good cheap way to increase performance I have 3 questions though 1. What is the stock stahl speed? 2. What would be the stahl speed of the V6 TC? 3. Is it safe to grab one of these out of a junk yard? I know that a vig. or a yank etc. would be the best way to go but ive got a family thats interfearing in my mod money and two maybe if I pull enough parts out of the junk yard I can get may car in CAR CRAFT

Re: S-10 tc

You won't pick up a squat of performance with an S10 converter. Just a higher stall speed, but the str is what you'll be lacking. For as low priced as they are, get a Fuddle Racing stall converter. Awesome converter, and you'll pick up a good bit of performance improvement with it.
