roar with pedal pressed
while driving home from work the other night, pushed the clutch preparing to roll to a stop and what i assumed to be the throwout bearing started roaring with a vibration that could be felt in the shifter.doesnt happen all the time but when it does its very audible. in the past when throwout bearings went out it usually made noise while not pressing the clutch then dissapered after the pedal was pushed. it is not hard to shift gears at all no grinding etc.just the roar /growl noise when pedal pushed what do you guys think? also i read that the most cost effective clutch kit is pieced together with name brand disc and oem type replacement pressure plate and turned or new flywheel.id prefer to by a flywheel as the addition of shims seems like a trouble spot. lookin for successful street setups not drag racing this car just daily driven with bolt ons thx for the help
