Rip T56 #2- Input shaft trashed...need ideas

I can not believe this ****. It happened again. I just finished pulling my trans and the splines are rolled over on the input shaft and one of the clutch discs is ruined. This is the second time this has happened in a year. After the first time, I had the trans completely worked and upgraded and this still happens. Does anyone know if there are billet input shafts or something better?? Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

I guess some people have bad luck with them. I will be putting in #3 and I only have bolt ons plus a hot cam kit, and a little 75 hit of the giggle gas. I am going with a T56Rebuilds unit this time. Although I think the broken DS and DS loop took the case out of this last casualty.

The sad part is the trans has never seen a pass down the track. I know the guy building them knows what he's doing. His auto has gone 9's and other 6 speeds he built has gone 10's. I guess my bad luck just continues
