Reverse Syncro???
Reverse Syncro???
Ok i posted this in lt1 section and then later realized that this was probably a more apropriate place. I was just wondering, with my Reverse syncro being messed up and my tranny wanting to pop out of reverse, will this affect any other of my gears syncros and or will it mess up my tranny? All other gears shift fine except for when im backing up and me having to hold the stick in reverse. Im about to make a long trip to Atlanta and what to be sure im not going to have my tranny crap out on me.

i am having the same problem it sux
it has got worse over the last 2 yrs
i don't recomend holding it into gear
just go back and forth between reverse and the dead spot below reverse. after a few back and forth movements put it into reverse firmly...
hold the brake and its either gunna bog down a lil or pop out. if it pops out do it again.
if it bogs down a lil take the foot off the brake and back up.
my stock shifter was the main cause on my reverse to get messed up.
the o ring at the bottom of the shifter was messed up and kept the car from going into reverse. then i got on it in reverse one time and could not back up properly since then.
