Question Reverse problem

For some reason my transmission doesnt not like to go into reverse. Like it'll go all the way over to the right and go up just a tad. But will not budge into reverse and you kinda got to force it. Hope its not syncros. What all could it be? and what most likely is it?

Re: Reverse problem

I don't know how much one is. I would test to make sure it is getting power and ground when it is supposed to and/or test to see if you can hear it operate.

Brown wire is 12v and light green is the ground control from the PCM.

The inhibit solenoid is to the left of the shifter.

Does it act the same if the key is on or off?
