Cool Reverse lockout solenoid

Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question. I have done the A4 to T56 conversion 3 years ago and I did not hook up the Reverse lockout soleniod. I have no problems shifting the car into reverse. It is alittle tough but nothing I can't handle. I was wondering by me forcing the car into reverse, will I do any damage to the transmission? I do not hear any grinding but I just wanted to know. I did try to do a search before I posted but I only found post regarding how to test the Reverse lockout solenoid and replacing the Reverse lockout soleniod. If this has been posted before I do apologize. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help.

It takes two hands to get mine in reverse, but I don't think it hurts anything.
