Angry replaced clutch,slv cylinder.. problems?

My mcleod twin disk finally gave out after five years. So, I replaced the discs and the pressure plate. When I tried to start it up I found a leak in the line from the slave cyl. to the master cylinder. Gm sells the entire unit with fluid already in it so I installet that. Finally got it on the ground and it will barely go into reverse and is hard going in to the rest of the gears. Is the clutch pedal to master cyliner rod adjustable? Any other suggestions? Thanks for any help, Aaron

Did you try bleeding the system at all? As far as I know there's no adjustment.

Re: replaced clutch,slv cylinder.. problems?

The original street twin kits required the slave cylinder to be rebuilt with a different internal piston/bore size; this is how McLeod "shortened" the throw on the clutch pedal. Therefore if you replaced your master/slave system, you lost your slave cylinder mod. McLeod has replaced the slave cylinder rebuild with an adjustable master cylinder. The adjustable master cylinder is pricey ($300) and replaces your master cylinder (you rebuild the stock master/slave system by swapping in McLeod's master cylinder).
