i did my 94 z28, should be the same prety much, one word of advice though!, take extreme care when taking off your Y-pipe to manifold bolts, so they dont snap off, probly will be froze on there pretty good, sprall all your bolts down with PB blaster the night before you do it, also its a little tricky at first but you have to tilt your tranny down in the back so you can gain access to the top two bellhousing bolts, its not to bad really, you gotta use a lot of extentions, and a wabble joint, and a 14MM socket i believe, i cant really think of any other "tricks", maybe some other guys know more stuff, but if i think of anything else ill add to this, good luck

The most pain in the *** part of dropping the trans for me was the cooler lines. They aren't the easiest to get at. Make sure you take your time and use a line wrench if you can get one in there. Otherwise, be nice to them, they're easy to strip

no there is an easier way to do it, those lines can be pulled down and whatever, you will see when u dissconnect them how low they hang, unbolt the tranny from the engine and get it all ready to take down , then lower the tranny straight down a few inches, this gives you way better access to those lines and the electrical connectors, then disconect all that stuff, i used a crows foot wrench on the end of some extentions with a wabble joint, its not that bad at all, just get them loose then you can unscrew em by hand, good luck

Which is how I'm set up now
