removable bellhousing

Did any LT1 f bodys come with a 2 piece bellhousing 4L60E simular to the LS1 or truck transmissions? Trying to end a debate at work.

this probably won't help you, but I THINK it does! I almost remember a few bolts attached the bellhousing to the tranny but I never removed them, so not sure.

I will look at my pics of my R&R later to be sure!

No...All LT1 F-Bodies had 1 piece cases.
