Bang the socket on there, and use a 20* swivel extension to get it off.( you cant get a universal on there.
once its off, bang in the floorboard with a sledge so it wont be hard in the future

I got it off yesterday, but there was no room to get a socket in there or to bang on the panel. I'm going to take a hammer to it today and fix it for good.
