Reccomend A Fluid For My Tranny?

I have a '97 LT1 with A4 tranny that has 70K miles on it. Planning on a fluid change but would like some feedback on best type/brand of fluid to use. I believe the specs call for a Dextron III fluid. Is there a specific brand that performs better than others?

I was told by my Trans builder to stay away from Syn trans oils so I went with the regular Dexron 3 from Castrol, their products have allways been good and so far I have no complaints.

I just picked up some Honda ATF-Z1 for my T56, supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm sure the Honda ATF is pretty good for autos too.

I use (and suggest) regular DEXRON III in everything...With NO additives! Havoline, Valvoline, Castrol. In reality most Dexron III is Dexron III...Even if it's Pep Boys or Napa brand. Just make sure you stay away from anything real cheap...I.E. Walmart brand, or anything like that.
