rebuild posi unit?

rebuild posi unit?

I was just wondering if its possible to rebuild my posi unit in my 94'z??? 10 bolt 7.5".....basically install new Kevlar clutches,and 800lbs springs....How hard is this??? What do I have to remove??? Any help?? I know somebody is going to say "Hey, through in an Eaton."...No....

The stock rear is an Auburn and not rebuildable.

But a diff out of an LS1 is rebuildable.

That is if you can find one.

I thought the LS1's used the Zexel Torsen, which uses worm gears instead of clutches. No need to rebuild.

I thought that all z28's had Zexel Torsen's and just the SS/WS6's had the Auburn's....Anybody have an extra posi unit would they??
