Title says it all. My T56 is in desperate need of a rebuild and I am trying to figure out if that's something I can do or if I should definitely take that to a pro? Thanks.

 

i sent mine to tick performance and got the level 2. i felt it was to much for me to do. they do good work and were very nice. check them out

 

rebuild it yourself. i rebuilt mine last year, it was complicated but when i took it apart, i laid everything on a table in the order it came off. when it was time to put it back together everything fell back in its place. just take your time. there is a decent writeup with pictures that i might be able to find that i used. it was a step by step disassembly and reassembly. plus its great to say YOU rebuilt your transmission.
