Question Reasonably priced clutch for nearly stock car?

Well, my clutch is slipping and I need to get it fixed ASAP before the first winter snow fall.

What is the most reasonably priced clutch for a nearly stock car that only sees the track a few times a year.

I may throw a 100 shot on at some point in the next year, but even with that, this is driven 100 miles a week and it at the track maybe 5-10 times a year so its not raced too often.

I've been told LT4 clutch? anyone know where to get it the cheapest?

Any other suggestions?

Does anything else need to be done when the clutch is changed out? Resurface the flywheel? Change anything else? My rear main seal isnt leaking or anything, but would you reccomend changing it while the tranny is out? Anything else "easy" while the tranny is out?

Ohh, I can't do this myself, no time, no tools, no knowledge, and too tight of a timeline to learn for the first time. How much have you guys spent to have your clutch changed and anything else associated with it.

Thanks a lot guys, and thanks for helping a t56 n00bie. I've always had auto's before.

I would try Jason Cromer at 1-877-726-8295. If he can't get it, call TByrne at 1-877-4-TBYRNE and order the SLP clutch disk.

why not just get an autozone one. They come with the LT4 pp and a LT1 disc probably really cheap too.

the SLP LT4 clutch and pressure plate is THE BEST budget clutch out there. my buddy is running his in his 11.9 z28(screename: atlajar) and i ran mine for almost 10,000 miles w/o any trouble (this included over 75 track passes on ET streets/dr's)
