Its a stock 10 bolt housing. Has a "beefy" auburn posi unit. Moser axles (30% stronger then stock) and 4.11 gears. The whole setup has about 200 miles on it and is in great shape. My car is near stock with a stock 10 bolt and 3.23 gears, but by next winter i wanna start building a blown 383 for next summer. I might have this rear taken apart and put all the internals into my current housing. What do you guys think? Should i just save my money and buy a Moser 12 bolt? Also how will the 4.11 gears do on a A4 say at 65 mph? Will i notice any difference accelerating once i hit 60mph and over? Right now my car goes from 60 - 100mph in no time.

 

save your 400 bux and buy a 9" or 12 bolt.. You'll just break that 10bolt as easily as your current one.. probably easier due to the 4.11's..
