Rear seal question

Will be pulling the trans for a rebuild and wanted to replace the seal while i'm at it. Anything to it? Any special tools?
Manual's packed away in storage at the moment.

Re: Rear seal question

Yes, I did it twice. Had a leak back there. I did a clutch change and pulled the flywheel. It was easy. I made a tube detail to install the seal for equal load over the seal ring. I prefer the GM seal to the Felpro seal. GM seal has more internal legs on the crankshaft.

Anyway, I solved my problem with an external vac pump drive. Problem was blowby on a FI app. No leaks @ all now.
