I would also check into CPT(Cahall perf transmissions) as i've heard nothing but positive reviews from them. As for a rear any Strange or Moser 12-bolt rear will be fine for an automatic application, however if you don't plan on all that much mods you'll be fine with just a stock 10-bolt with an aftermarket differential cover.

Give me a call, and we can discuss building a transmission for you. 302-250-1202 We can build you anything from a $700 stock rebuild, up to our 9 second proven $1400 "Pro Race" rebuild. These prices are based on a customer supplied core.
Where are you located? We ship transmissions all over the country.

Thanks,
Frank

im located in chicago land area, i plan on putting some mods on it this summer and would like to take it to the strip once in awhile and i prefer a rebuild that can also take an aggressive foot, along with the trans rebuild im adding a new tourque converter with a higher stall and a new rear end, any suggestions on a good trans build, tc, and rearend setup would be appreciated. thanks

Your bezxt bet would be something along the lines of our $1000 "Race" rebuild, or our $1400 "Pro Race" rebuild. The "PR" is more geared toward cars running deeper than 1.6 60 ft. times.

As for a converter, I'd suggest either a Yank or a Fuddle.

You'e looking at around $80 (each way) to ship to/from the Chicago area. Our turn around time is right at a week, right now.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me. 302-250-1202

Thanks,
Frank
