Does your car have traction control? I highly dought your son's does. The abs system might not be compatible with one car to the next.

Yes, both cars will have the ABS on top of the center of the housing. It will bolt righ in, but one more thing, is the V6 car a drum brake car?

Re: Rear End Swap (LS1 to V6)

What problems could the drum brakes on the V6 cause. I have a 93 Z rear end im wanting to put in my 95 V6. One reason is for the disk brakes, and second is the fact that im planning an engine swap soon. Will I need to swap the whole brake sysytem form my Z?

The brake proportioning valve would have to be changed cause the disc require a different amount of pressure to operate.

Scott couldn't you just get an adjustable one and put it in line?
