Re: rear end question

Let me know if you need a source for a spacer and longer bolts. Cost me like $50 shipped, but I don't have the company info in front of me.

Re: rear end question

I would recommend drivetrain.com. I bought a Motive spacer from a place in Michigan but I got the answers to my questions from Shep at http://www.drivetrain.com

That Motive spacer needed some chamfering to fit against the Auburn differential's flange. The radius on the flange is greater than the chamfer on the spacer. It took a while to whittle the spacer to fit flat against the differential's flange.

You might already know this but a spacer is a weak link. First of all, it doesn't fit on the pilot of the differential but is located by the bolts themselves. This doesn't seem like it would give a good location but amazingly it does. Hard launches with drag slicks will probably cause a spacered rear end to fail. If you have an automatic transmission, you will be much safer.

good luck

Re: rear end question

Summitracing.com part number RMG-490051 is 205.95. Personally, I would go with the 3.73s thats what i am running in my Z and I love them. Granted the cruising RPM will be a little bit higher than what ur running now.
