rear end oil change how much do i need to put?

rear end oil change how much do i need to put?

does some one know how much gear oil and additive do i need to put do a comlete rear end oil change?

1 1/2 to 1 3/4 of gear lube and 1 bottle(not sure what the oz is) of GM additive. Hope this helps

It should take about 1 1/2 quarts, if you don't have a zexel posi you'll also have to add the limited slip additive. I believe gm calls for 4 ounces of additive. With my ta girdle cover i can almost fit 2 quarts in, no additive though.

I have a TA girdle as well 1 3/4 quarts of synthetic and GM additive.

thanks on the info it has a stock posi with 4:10 gears and it's going in my a-4 . thanks again
