i just bought my car and it has a lot of stuff done to it already, but how do i tell if a short shifter is one of them??? thanks

 

If it doesn't have a short throw shifter, you will surely know it. Stock throw is about 5 inches or so if I remember correctly, most aftermarkets are around 3-4 inches. You can also pull up the console center around the shifter and see what it looks like. The stock shifter stick is set in rubber at the base with 3 13mm bolt heads from the side if I am not mistaken.
