Rear End Noise in 4th Gen

I have a 00 SS M6 with 58k miles on it, the rear end was making some noise, it sounded like the axle bearings, so i took apart the rear end and replaced them. In the process i found that the one bearing on the pass side had worn the axle heavly, so i decided to buy new axles to hopefully solve the noise problem. put it all back together and its make a slightly different noise now. Anybody ran into this? Im going to guess its the carrier bearings now, the noise changes with road speed, any help would be great, thanks
