Help Choosing Shift Kit
Help Choosing Shift Kit
Alright, the mods i have are in my signature, its a 1996 Z/28 with about 140k on the stock bottom end and A4 transmission, with my new 3.73 gears in, my shift when racing takes a little longer, so to give me a little quicker shift i decided it was time for a shift kit...
please keep in mind i dont want to go crazy with money here because future intentions for the car will require a racing transmission and it will already have a nice shift kit in it, all i want is something decent that will help me change gears a bit quicker and not kill my stock trans. Knowing this any of your recommendations would be greatly appreciated (links to the product would be nice too).
Thanks for everyones time.

B&M Shift Improver -- http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
B&M Transpak -- http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
I was thinking the Transpak might be a little overboard for me seeing that all i really want is a quicker firmer shift, its described like its made for a high performance street machine and mine (for now) is only mild, i've never dyno'd it, i MIGHT be getting 350 out of the motor, lord knows what to the ground *shrugs* i hope this helps you guys and i hope to see a one sided response, thanks again!
