rear end axle play.......how much requires repairs?
when doing brakes this weekend i noticed my passenger side axle has about 2-3mm of noticable play. enough to make a knocking noise if i pull back and forth on the tire.
the driver side has just about 0-1mm play, it just barely moves, not enough to knock.

I think 2-3 mm is normal... I had about a half inch of play in both my axles for a long time until it finally blew up at the track lastweek.
