Question rear end

I just bought a new richmond ring and pinion 373, off a guy i know for a steal, hes positive its going to work for my camaro, but im not sure, so i want to know what to look for to make sure its goin to work, i have a 95 camaro z28, has a 273 gear in it now, people keep tellin me to check the carrier series but im not sure what the stock carrier series is i know the new gear is a 2 the gear is a RMG-4900071

The stock 2.73 gear came with a 2-series carrier. Stock 3.23 and 3.42's used the 3-series carrier.
