Anyone know offhand the width of a 93-97 rear axle from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface? Amazingly searches have turned up nothing.

 

off a mid 90s' V6 drum brake rearend I have sitting in the garage,63 3/4".

 

Strange Engineering shows (at least in the old catalog cut that I saved when I bought my 12-bolt) the dimension, between the hub flange outer surfaces as 64.72". That is their direct replacement rear axle assembly for a 4th Gen. My 12-bolt was identical to the stock 10-bolt width.

 

i just measured my 95 and the width from the wheel mating surface with the rotors on is 65 1/8 . i have a strange 12 bolt but when i got it i measured it against my stock 342 posi and it was the same.
