Rear Axle Removal - What Tools and Where?

I'm removing my rear axle to drop my fuel tank tomorrow and I am confused about the tools needed. In the Haynes manual they arre named things like "axle removal tool j-12345, could I take this onformation to an auto parts store for the correct tools needed? If not, where do I get these tools?

They aren't expensive, are they?

On my 1995 Z28, no special tools were needed. A good selection of sockets and wrenches should do the trick.

Ok, good...mine should be no different. That book can be misleading at times. I probably don't need the ABS o ring exciter protector tool either (for vehicles w/o traction control it says)....or at least I hope not.

Thank you.
