quick 4L80E question for all you tranny experts...

Long story short, when towing my Camaro home from Illinois (700 miles thru the mountains) my truck stopped shifting to second gear. It's a 1994 Silverado 4x4 with the 4L80E automatic transmission. It goes from 1st to 3rd fine (you have to rev it way up in 1st then let completely off the gas and wait for it to shift to 3rd) I dont think it goes to OD anymore either. Any ideas?? I'm probably just going to buy a rebuilt tranny but I thought I'd ask to see if maybe it was something simple....Thanks.

Well where's alway the old standby. Change the fluid and filter first and while your under there check the linkage and make sure it's hooked up and moving into and the detents.
Then go get another trans.
