Questions about stall and highway cruising.

I recently bought my wife a 95 Z28 and I am going to have the tranny rebuilt, but I have a question about the stall speed and the convertor. When she is drving on the highway say at 70 mph would a vig 3000-3200 have drivabilty problems compared to stock or will she not be able to tell the difference. I was hoping to use no more than 3.42 rear gearing.

I was going to use a street/strip rebuild kit from 700r4/4l60e website and it recommends a 10" or smaller converter, thus the vigilante. And my wife will use it for street/strip and the car will eventually have nitrous.

Any extra info would be appreciated, I have had a 95TA M6 for a long time but I am new to the automatic setup.

Re: Questions about stall and highway cruising.

As long as you get a lockup converter you won't notice the difference on the highway.
