Question about "stallin' at the line"

I was just wondering what everybody(with a stall converter) was stalling up at the line?? (what rpm do you come off the line) I have a 3200 stall converter and I can only get it up to about 19-2000, and then it wants to push me...WTF?? I know of a few cars with bigger converters that can "stall it up" more...Is there something in the pcm that i can change to accept this?? Do I need to install a brake booster, or something?? Any help?

th highest ive ever tried stalling with my old 3400 (broken at the moment lol) was 2400....granted i blew the nittos off but it woudl probably go a bit higher....for a nice hard hooking launch tho. i usually leave somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000 rpm.....
