question about the pro 5.0 shifter

I just put on a short stick on my stock hurst shifter, as you know the stock stick is offset, but the one I have now is not. You can see the difference here.

Now the stick sits way on the right side of the console area, which is a little annoying.

So on to my question, I've decided to buy a pro 5.0 shifter, and I was wondering if the place where you connect the stick to the shifter is angles toward the driver at all? It kind of looks like it does in this picture.

Idealy I like to use the Pro 5.0 and the short stick I have now, and have the stick extending from the center of the console area without fabbing some sort of offset.

Thanks

If you get the Pro 5.0 just use the stock stick and cut some of the threaded end off of it. That's all I did and I absolutely love it.

use the stick that comes with the pro 5.0 and just cut it down. anymore than that and you will be reaching down into the shifter boot to make ur shift

then you can sell the stick you have now and make up some of what you lost buying the pro 5.0
