Exclamation q's about LT1 hydrolics

I have been doin lots of research... but I cant seem to find a whole lot with referrence to which cars need this:
The drill mod. I know they drill out the hose, but do LT1's need this? I am trying to get everything figured out now, so I can just pull the car out of storage and know exactly what to tackle so I have minimal downtime.

So, does the drill mod apply to LT1's setup?

Any hints or tricks I could look at doing with the hydros?

Thanks!

Are you having problems with your hydraulics? I was under the impression the mod only applied to the LS1, but I could be wrong. If there is nothing wrong, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are having some troubles, try bleeding them first.

Drill mod only applies to LS1 cars. No need for it on LT1 cars.
They restricted the clutch action and speed at which it can operate to reduce the beating on the 10 bolt from the one new all mighty LS1.

cool! So they thought the lt1's were too weak to hurt the 10bolt? bastards.
Good thing to know so I dont waste time pullin that junk apart.
The hydros seem to work fine, but I am gettin a new tranny and rear, and hopefully clutch, so I just wanted to do it all at once. But, this is one thing I can cross off. Sweet.
Thanks guys!
