pros and cons of lowering the lockup speed

i have a vig 3200 and 3.73 in my car. i had bryan at pcmforless lower my lock up speed from 45 to 35 mph, since i do mostly city driving and at 45 i would never lock up the converter. i wanted to know what the pros and cons are?

As long as he didn't lower the mph to 35 above 18.8% TPS then is will be all good. Other wise, it's hard on the trans imo. Stock was 48 mph below 18.8% btw.
