I just installed a used transmission in my car that has 48k miles on it. It shifts fine and sems pretty strong. The problem I am having is that at WOT I get a ses light and the trans starts acting funny. It doesnt want to shift until about 5k rpm and it shifts very hard. I pull the pcm fuse and the problem goes away until I try to go WOT again. I am thinking it has something to do with the TPS since I also swapped my TB with a Edelbrock 52mm and it has a adjustable TPS. I can romp on the car and give it 99% throttle but as soon as I mash my foot to the floor I get the light and subsequent crappy transmission operation. I'm not sure what the code is. Is there any way to check it without a scanner?
