Lt1 Spec Stage 5

anyone useing a spec stage 5? I broke my second stage 3. I talked to spec and the said i was over powering the clutch. He recomended I get a stage 3F or a stage 5 the 5 is supposed to be good to 1000tq and the 3f is supposed to be good for 900tq. Any recomendations? I do not want to switch to a street twin.

Is it a track only car? Thats the only way I would go with a stage 5, I hear they are really brutal to drive on the street. Why not the stage 4, did they think that wouldnt be strong enough? Its like the 3 but has a solid unsprung center section. Thats what I'm using.....or working on using (see post) With the power you are making with N20 though maybe you should just go with the ST.

Re: Lt1 Spec Stage 5

the stage 3 and the stage 4 are rated for the same power. 680tq "all spec ratings are flywheel" the only diffrence is the 3 has springs and the 4 does not it is not rated for any more power. The 3f is rated at more power then the 4. I drive the car to the track, every so often it take it out on the highway and put some mile on it, and i drive it to work ever once in a while. but is by no means a daily drive.
