Power program?

Is there a way to Power program your computer to your shifts at certain rpm's? I have a 97 z28 and obv. it has the 4l60e. If so does anyone recommend anything?

Re: Power program?

You can buy a Hypertech Power Programmer. Used is the best deal, because a new one is over-priced, and the "power program" is virtually worthless. But it is convenient for shift point changes, rev limiter adjustment, rear axle changes, speed limiter removal, fan on/off temps. You have to make sure the original owner returned his PCM to stock using the programmer, or it won't work with your PCM (although there is a way around that).

Alternatively, you can send your PCM to a mail order tuner, and he can set it up any way you want.
